Do you feel stuck in a story defined by anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, or major life changes?
Do you feel stuck in a story defined by anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, or major life changes?
You are not the problem- the problem is the problem!
Mountain View Therapy is pleased to announce our Pro Bono Narrative Therapy Pro Bono Program—a reciprocal clinical initiative offering high-quality, care to community members while providing advanced training for our Social Work Interns. Closely supervised by a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), our Social Work Interns use Narrative Therapy to help clients shift from being "subject to a problem" to becoming the primary authors of their preferred stories.
Over 9 months of weekly, 50-minute sessions, you will journey through four key phases:
Map the Landscape: Name the external forces affecting your life and gain distance from them.
Re-Author Your Life: Uncover forgotten strengths, resistance, and personal agency.
The Witness Ceremony: Share and validate your new story alongside a supportive, chosen audience.
Create Your Legacy: Walk away with a tangible "Document of Knowledge"—a personalized toolkit for your future.
This program is a great fit if you:
Are uninsured, underinsured, experiencing financial hardship, or prefer not to use insurance for privacy/personal reasons.
Can commit to weekly 50-minute sessions for the full 9 months.
Note: This program is not suited for those currently in active crisis or in need of 24/7 care.
Spaces are limited. Reach out today to get started or learn more!
