My style as a therapist is gentle, thoughtful, and attentive. I tend to listen closely and give people space to think, feel, and find their own words rather than quickly filling the silence or directing where the conversation should go.
You may notice that I take time to listen and reflect before responding. For me, that quietness is an important part of being present with you. I'm paying attention to the details of what you share and listening for the experiences, values, relationships, and possibilities that feel important to you.
I work especially well with people who appreciate a calmer therapeutic space and want room to explore things at their own pace. Rather than taking a highly directive approach or telling you what you should do, I hope to create conversations where your own knowledge, ideas, and preferred ways of living can emerge.

I believe we all participate in creating stories about who we are and how the world perceives us. Some of these stories connect us with happiness, excitement, and possibility, while others can become dominated by fear, anxiety, depression, or ideas about who we're supposed to be.
Narrative Therapy gives us space to become curious about those stories without defining you by the problems you're experiencing. Together, we can pay attention to stories that may have been overlooked and strengthen ones that connect you with encouragement, empowerment, inspiration, and the ways you prefer to live your life.
I grew up with a diverse cultural background in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. I received my Master of Social Work from Springfield College in 2014.
Since then, I've worked with adults, children, and families through individual and family therapy as well as parent coaching. Those experiences continue to shape my interest in relationships, families, parenting, identity, and the many different stories people carry with them.
