I believe everyone deserves access to mental health care where they feel seen, respected, and valued. I use a relational, empathic, person-centered approach, grounded in your knowledge. I approach therapy with a strengths-based, trauma-informed lens. I may ask you where you “feel” something in your body to integrate experiences and shape new understandings.
I hope to offer an affirming, welcoming, and collaborative space for people exploring their identities, experiences, and relationship with the world around them. I also like to use a sense of humor in my meetings when appropriate, and I have cats who enjoy saying hi whenever they feel inclined.
Impact of social and cultural dynamics • Relationship dynamics • Stories around Gender and Sexuality • Life Experiences and Meaning-Making • Values and Preferred stories
I see Narrative Therapy as a creative and engaging way to understand ourselves and the world around us. I am interested in exploring the meaning you make of your experiences and how those experiences have shaped your understanding of yourself. Through breaking apart and evaluating social and cultural stories, we can make room for new possibilities and ways forward.
I grew up in New York City, an experience that sparked my interest in human relationships and mental health. I graduated from Northeastern University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Toward the end of my program, I realized that social work was the profession I was meant to pursue and went on to earn my Master of Social Work from Boston College, with a certificate in Trauma.
Before joining Mountain View Therapy, I gained experience through clinical research, by working in DEI, as a case manager, and as an outpatient therapist at Cambridge Health Alliance. My clinical training focused on supporting adults experiencing substance use, anxiety, and depression, as well as exploring gender identity, sexuality and using affirmative care. These experiences have informed my commitment to accessible and meaningful mental health care.
