I hope that therapy with me is a place to explore the thoughts and influences that define our experience of life, relationships, and our understandings of who we are. I try to take an informal, curious, and client-centered approach with every client so that it can feel as comfortable to discuss often difficult topics together and collaborate on finding new paths forward.

I have always been interested in people and how stories define our experience of life, and how changes in these stories can help us find new directions or viewpoints in life.
I believe Narrative Therapy opens doors for us to be curious about the stories we tell about ourselves and the world around us, and by examining these stories we can find ways to keep problems like Anxiety, Depression, or Trauma from defining who we are and how we go through the world.
Before landing on social work as a path, I graduated from Marlboro College with a degree in film and medieval history and went on to work in independent film production and as an actor before moving into digital marketing, and then eventually social work. I still work as an actor and produce immersive theater events in my off time. I am proudly a nerd, and enjoy such things as Tabletop Roleplaying Games and Live Action Roleplaying, as well as the admittedly less nerdy hobbies like hiking and camping.
In my early thirties, dissatisfaction with corporate work and my interest in people and their stories led me to therapy as a career. I received my Master of Social Work from Boston University in 2022. Before joining Mountain View Therapy, I worked with veterans experiencing homelessness, addiction, and post-traumatic stress in the Somerville area. Those experiences continue to inform the care and curiosity I bring to therapeutic conversations.
